Van Gogh in Budapest

Although Budapest has gotten quite a well-deserved reputation as one of the party capitals of the world, there is quite a bit of culture and art to see in this thousand year old capital. There will be a permanent exhibition of Van Gogh and his collected works in Budapest at the VAN design center. This exhibition will be focusing on some of his less known work, but some classics will also be there for the audiences viewing pleasure.

The VAM design center is located in Király street, and is home to a good number of great exhibitions. This traveling Van Gogh is going to be one of the best ones yet. The exhibition will be called My Dreams, and will include a 3D theatre of his best works as well as some original prints as well.

If you want to do something besides drink and party, this may be a good opportunity, as the exhibit will be in the inner city, in the party district, but at the same time will give you a chance to relax and possibly to absorb some culture as well. And if you want to continue with the drinking, you can just hop on over to one of the many pubs and bars that are located in this district!
